Structures of examination:
- A variety of upper extremities arteries such as brachial arteries and radial arteries, and a variety of upper extremities veins such as subclavian vein and basilic vein.
Preparation:
- Wear loose, comfortable singlet or clothing. You may be asked to change into a gown prior to scanning.
Aim:
- To determine the underlying cause of upper extremities pain, numbness and abnormal sensation especially exposure to cold temperature, skin changes, onset of swelling and heaviness, temperature difference between both hands and ulcer on the fingertips.
